A contractual supervisor at the NSO office in the CGO Complex has been arrested on charges of sexually harassing a female colleague and making inappropriate proposals.

The victim lodged a complaint at Bidhan Nagar North Police Station, which led to an investigation and subsequent arrest of the accused.

According to police sources, the female employee reported that Madhusudan Mandal had been harassing her and making threats against her. The Bidhannagar North Police Station conducted an investigation based on the complaint, which resulted in the arrest of Mandal.

He was taken to Bidhannagar Uttar Police Station and is expected to appear in the Bidhan Nagar district court. The NSO office has not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.
